Introduction
Urumqi Frontier Economic & Trading Fair, started on Sept. 2, 1992 when former Premier LiPeng cut the ribbon by himself for first opening of the Fair. It ended the history that there is no large foreign economic and trading fair in North-West Region of China. Since then, a new fair structure was formed, that is, Guangzhou Fair in South China, Shanghai Fair in East China, Harbin Fair in North China, and now, Urumqi Fair in West China.
