China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation, Keeping pace with the policy built up for reformation and open-up to the world, was founded on June 1, 1979 upon the approval by the state council of china.
    After approval by the State Economic and Trade Commission and the Ministry of Railway, China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation was reformed into Group on December 26, 1996, With the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation as the core enterprise, and simultaneously changed its name into Group (here is after called CCECC).

    CCECC completed the disconnection with the Ministry of Railway on September 2000, and meanwhile was attached to the Industry Commission of Central Enterprise of the China Communist Party Central Committee.
    At the beginning of 2003, CCECC was , along with other 195 central enterprise, under the direct leadership of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council.
    CCECC realized the strategic reform with the China Railway Construction Corporation in the form of mergence on September 2003 based one the spirit of the document “The Written Replay on the reform of the China Railway Construction Corporation and the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation(document No.: SA Reform [2003] No. 153)” issued by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council.
    CCECC, at present, is the member of the China Chamber of International Commerce, the Vice Chairmen level unit of the China International Contractors Association and the Director of the China International Engineering Consulting Association.
    CCECC, in the more than 20 years, has constantly expanded its business areas and gradually formed the operational pattern of simultaneous development of diversified business with engineering contracting as its main and railway design and construction as its speciality.
    Along with the expansion of the market and layout of markets having become the frame of work net initially, the dimensions of projects are larger and larger. CCECC has successfully completed a number of large and medium projects, which are invested in a big sum, long construction period and technically complicated.
    CCECC’s assets are scaled up step by step, net assets are stably increased and comprehensive strength is boosted up continuously. Domestically, CCECC has obtained the main business qualification --- “Special class of Main Contractor for Railway Construction” and “Class one Main Contractor for building Construction”, and also obtained “Class one Main Contractor for Construction of City Project”, “Class one Professional Contractor for City Rail traffic Project” and “Class one Professional Contractor for building Decoration Project”.
    CCECC’s Position in the same industry bas gradually upgraded and dominate brand in the world has set up initially. CCECC has also obtained the highest qualification for the local business is Hong Kong and abroad such as Nigeria, United Arab Emirates, Tanzania and Botswana, etc.
