Business visa for China one week visa application

Download the visa application from the Chinese Embassy website and complete the visa form. Be sure to check off Business (F) Visa.

Attach one passport photo to the application.

Make a copy of your hotel and flight information.

Obtain an invitation letter from an authorized Chinese business.

Deliver all materials to the Chinese Consulate nearest you. No appointments are necessary. Provide a self-addressed, prepaid envelope to have documents returned to you via mail.

You can pay an authorized agent to complete this step for you, or ask a travel agent for assistance.

Wait for your passport and new visa.

Same day and rush service are available for extra fees.
You do not need a visa for trips to Hong Kong under 30 days. If you are traveling to Hong Kong prior to China, it is possible to apply for your visa there. Ask the hotel concierge for assistance.
If you are traveling back and forth between China and Hong Kong, be sure to select the "double entry" option on the application.

Passport with at least six months of remaining validity and one blank visa page
Completed Visa Application Form
One passport-sized photo glued or stapled to the application
Proof of travel (round-trip tickets and hotel reservation)
An invitation letter from an authorized Chinese business/organization
